King Intermediate has joined with the American Heart Association in their "Hoops for Heart" campaign. Their mission is "To build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. That single purpose drives all we do. The need for our work is beyond question." King supports their efforts through the Hoops for Heart Basketball Challenge. Our students have been participating in daily basketball events this week (March 5-8) - "Hot Shots" and "3-on-3." The Kaneohe District Park staff and our PE teachers have been expertly officiating the games and keeping everyone safe. The lunch time crowd in the gym have been enjoying the games and do a good job of cheering on their friends as they run and shoot with Cobra Pride.
